Los Angeles Heart Bandits also has listings at Found AnimalsPup City, Los Angeles classifieds, Pet Harbor, and occasionally Dogasaur, Eskie Board and the local Recycler
Newest-arriving Eskies will not be listed online yet, so you might want to telephone to ask about the latest cuties, or visit a weekend showing!

TO MEET LOS-ANGELES-AREA ADOPTABLE "ESKIES":

Step 1. Complete a Heart Bandits Adoption Application

Step 2. Email copies of your completed application to Lori Pasch and Heart Bandits

Step 3. Call Lori Pasch ((213)200-5158 to arrange a doggie date!

A home visit will occur prior to final placement.  Please have a veterinarian ref ready for your application.  The adoption fee offsets Heart Bandits' costs of shelter fees, vaccinations, spay/neuter, collar & leash, grooming, and medical expenses. The adoption's two-week trial period in your home assures you of a refund or exchange if needed.

Lucky is looking for love! (update: LUCKY GOT ADOPTED!)

- Available to adopt in Southern California!
Adopt me! Beautiful dog to adopt - miniature American Eskimo - white Pomeranian
Lucky is a BEAUTIFUL fluffy little dog who would love a forever-family of his own that can give him lots of love and tummy rubs!

Lucky picks and chooses who he wants to have as "human friends". He doesn't seem to like vets but turned on the charm for the groomer! He was a perfect little gentleman.  Maybe he will pick YOU!  Will you give him a chance?

Lucky had 13 teeth removed and does well with smaller premium food because of his teeth. He has fresh breath once again and is as SWEET as can be!! Once yours he will follow you around and appear wherever you are when you least espect it.

We think he might have arthritis in his hips, however, he does jump up and down with no problems at all especially when you come home. It's the CUTEST jump I've ever seen.. it's his very own!

He plays extremely well with the other dogs although sometimes Jax has put him in his place because Jax doesn't always want to play.

Lucky does NOT act at all like a senior ---you would think he was much younger. He has lots of energy and can play all day long with Jax & Nicky. (Gigi won't have it... LOL)

He does bark when ignored, so he needs a lot of 1-on-1 attention but has sooo much love to give you in return of all the attention he craves!

You can buy a dog via dog rescues, breed rescues, dog adoption fairs, classified ads, city shelters, county shelters, and pet store pet displays, but ALWAYS check to make sure they are not puppy mill dogs.  Ask for the name of their non-profit Rescue Organization.  (Puppy mills do not have registered non-profit status.)  There are some pet stores that work with Rescues, but not all of them do, so inquire in detail.  (Real breeders are trying to retain breed standards and sell to ideal owners via applications and review; they NEVER sell through pet stores because they will not allow random strangers to have their dogs.)  Make sure you are saving a life, not paying puppymills to crank out litters and discard their "extras" by death or dumping.  Thank you!
